CLIENT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / MANAGER 

Job Description

The Account Executive / Manager is the project manager responsible for the coordination of campaigns, communicating clearly and keeping the project on track with all parties who are involved. Responsible for the daily coordination of projects assigned, you will need to understand the needs of your clients, which you will learn through close communication. This includes managing administrative and campaign work and ensuring that advertising projects are completed on time and on budget.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements

  • Work with team to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget

  • Be the primary liaison between the agency and the client for all ongoing projects, ensuring the briefs are met with quality and timeliness

  • Present, alongside team (particularly the account manager), the campaign ideas and budget to the client

  • Work with the account manager to brief creative team, and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies

  • Manage operations and implementation of through-the-line campaigns

  • Maintain timelines and ensure delivery for key milestones including presentations, approvals and production

  • Liaise with, and act as the link between, the client and team by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively

  • Negotiate with clients and team about the details of campaigns

  • Present creative work to clients for approval or modification

  • Handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoice clients

  • Undertake administration tasks

  • Control the financial health of all projects
  • Make pitches, along with team, to try to win new business for the agency where necessary

  • Build enduring relationships with clients and inspire client confidence in the agency

  • Actively pursue digital opportunities and innovative ideas

Required Skills & Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing or Mass Communication

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • An independent and tenacious worker with good attitude, diligent and meticulous

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work well as a team

  • Has 2 – 5 / 5 – 10 years’ working experience

  • Knowledge of multimedia and current technologies

  • Excellent at understanding timing and budget limitations while pushing a project along, keeping everyone on track and informed
